CHILDREN'S CORNER By: Barbara Botkin Carolyn and John Kenawell of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, children of Executive Vice-President John F. Kenawell and his wife, Linda, recently won awards in the Hollidaysburg Community Farm Show. Carolyn, a 16 year old senior at Hollidaysburg High School took 1st place in drawings with her 3-dimensional skier, 2nd place in painting for her floral creation and a 2nd place in crafts for a sculpture of a lion. John, a 15 year old sophmore won 2nd place in woodwork for his crafting of a clock, and a 3rd place in woodwork for a jewel box. It seems that the children are following in their mother’s footsteps as she (Linda) also won a 1st place in the houseplant category for her African Violets. Congratulations, Carolyn, John and Linda Kenawell. i Everyone knows the Golden “Do” Rule, but I think this Silver “Think” Rule should accompany it: Think about others as if you were those others. 25
