Branch 19 Officers and National Director, Michael Hegedűs. Elizabeth Gyorgydeak, Auditors, for the year 1983. National Director Michael Hegedűs conducted the in­stallation. Although we had very inclement weather, our Family Christmas Party was held on Sunday afternoon, December 12th at the Bayard Street Presbyterian Church Hall as scheduled and attended by our many hardy members. Branch President, Joseph Arvay, welcomed everyone and introduced all the officers after which National Direc­tor Michael Hegedűs also greeted everyone and extended Season’s Greetings and wished everyone an en­joyable afternoon. Our entertainment again was Jonjie the Clown Magician, who like Santa, seems to keep everyone’s attention, young and old alike. The Reverend Joseph Bodnar of the Bayard Street Presbyterian Church led the assemblage in the singing of Christmas carols with the accompani­ment of the accordionist, Chacho. Then Santa arrived and he presented each child with a gift and candy, assisted by Branch President Joseph Arvay and Branch Secretary Barbara Hegedűs. Branch 19 New Brunswick, N.J. On Monday, December 6, 1982 the annual election meeting was held at the Bayard Street Presbyterian Church Hall. The elected officers are: Joseph Arvay, President; Ruth Vasvary, Vice President; Barbara Hegedűs, Secretary; Irene Evans, Treasurer; Alex Horvath, Anthony Vass and Despite the weather we had our youngest member present in the person of Melissa Lyn Miller, 4 months young grand-daughter of Vice President Ruth Vasvary. Our meetings are held the first Mon­day of the month at the Bayard Street Presbyterian Church Hall, corner Bayard and Joyce Kilmer Avenue in New Brunswick, N.J. at 7:00 P.M. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! Barbara Hegedűs Branch 19, Secretary Branch 1 5 Chicago, Illinois The Branch held its annual Christmas Party on December 19th at the Sauhammels Hall. The weather man cooperated so that the parents had no alibi for not bring­ing the children, by 3:30 P.M. the hall was full and shortly thereafter Santa came in with all the goodies. Santa then proceeded to pass out the gifts and sweets. Then the cameras started flashing as the parents took pic­tures of Santa as their youngsters sat on his lap. Branch 1 5 — Chicago, Illinois Mrs. Mary Hodits and Mrs. Betty Burke were busy getting ready to serve the hot dogs to all present. Santa was Tom Burton, his assistant was Frank Balogh. The bar was tended by yours truly. Fraternally yours, Joseph Hodits, Secretary-T reasurer And now on to Detroit for the 40th Annual Bowling Tournament. A buffet of delicious food which was prepared by Ruth Vasvary was also en­joyed with refreshments. All officers assisted in making the party a success.
