Branch 8 — Johnstown, Pa. yuletide gifts, carol books, and refreshments were served to all. Branch 8 and all its members wish each of you and your families a prosperous and happy 1983! Fraternally yours, Steve Petruska The William Penn Association Branch 8, Johnstown, Pa., held its election of branch officers Sunday, December 12, 1982 at 2 P.M. at the Social Hall of the Hungarian Ev. & Reform Church, corner 9th Ave. and Chestnut St., Johnstown, Pa. Re-elected as President of the Johnstown Branch 8, Mrs. Vera Petruska of 961 East Ave., the other officers are as follows: Mrs. Elizabeth Buckshaw, Vice President; Willard Maurer, Recording Secretary; Steve Petruska, Jr., Treasurer; and Mrs. Ida Sipos and Mrs. Elizabeth Maurer as Auditors. Branch 8 meetings are held every 2nd Sunday of the month at 2 P.M. All branch members are invited to attend. Branch 8 held its Annual Children Christmas Party from 3-5 P.M. The children and their parents received Branch 1 3 Trenton, N.J. The officers of Branch 13 wish everyone a “Happy and Blessed New Year.” Branch 13, Trenton, N.J. held the annual election of officers in conjunction with the Family Christmas Party on December 5, 1982. The officers were unanimously elected as follows for the year 1983: President, Frank J. Radvany; Vice President, Joseph Hamari; Secretary, Elsie H. Radvany; Treasurer, Anthony C. Beke; and Controller, Betty Kennedy. The Family Christmas Party was a very joyous occasion. The decorations were beautiful and it was so nice to see the many smiling faces of the children, parents, and proud grandparents. Branch 8 — Johnstown, Pa. Director, Frank J. Radvany, extended Christmas greetings from our National President, Elmer Charles, the National Officers, Board of Directors, and Branch 13. He stated that it was an honor to have his father, Frank Radvany, Sr. who is President Emeritus of Branch 13 and former Director of the William Penn Association, attend our Christmas Party and install the newly elected officers. Branch 13 Officers: Elsie H. Radvany, Secretary; President Emeritus, Frank Radvany, Sr.: Anthony C. Beke, Treasurer: Frank J. Radvany, President; Joseph Hamari, Vice- President. Christmas carols and Hungarian music were enjoyed by all. Refreshments were served by Elsie H. Radvany and Margaret Hamari. The children received gifts, Christmas stockings filled with goodies, and a Christmas Carol Booklet provided by the William Penn Association. Branch 13 is most thankful for the generous contribution provided by the Home Office for the Christmas party. Our regular monthly meetings are held on the first Sunday of each month commencing at 2:00 P.M. at the American Hungarian Democratic Citizens’ Club on So. Clinton Avenue, Trenton, N.J.
