Fr. Robert Nemeth Varga; Rev. and Mrs. Andrew Szilagyi; Rev. and Mrs. John Butosi; Louis L. Varga, Albert J. Stelkovics, Edward J. Behuncik, Mr. and Mrs. John McCarthy; Rev. Fr. Denes Szots, Provincial of Transylvanian Franciscans. Sincere thanks and appreciations are extended to Mr. and Mrs. John T. Lesko for furnishing hors de ouvres; Stephen J. Havey for providing beautiful music and for taking pictures; finally to those who toiled in the hot kitchen to provide forces with a fine dinner and Vic Banacowsler for serving the refreshments. It was nice to see our large Branch in Connecticut arrange for such a wonderful fraternal activity. It was announced that the next activity is the sponsoring, by the Branch, of an 8-day tour to Hungary, which at this writing seems to be a sell out. Mr. Varga also announced that the next social function will be to honor the 50-year members of Branch 1. The evening’s program was closed by Rev. Fr. Nemeth’s benediction. Branch 1 3 Trenton, IM.J. Congratulations to the lucky bowlers who came home with prizes from the National Bowling Tournament held in Chicago. The Tournament Adrt)inistrators, namely, National Vice- President, John P. Balia, Vice- President, Gus G. Nagy, and Director, Frank Wukovits, along with the committees of Branches 15 and 24 are to be commended for the wonderful fellowship days experienced by all who attended. The accommodations at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare were superb. The program at the banquet was enjoyable and the participants performed very professionally. Branch 13 would like to extend congratulations to all the William Penn scholarship awardees, and all who graduated from schools of higher learning. Once again, I would like to ask you to support the William Penn Scholarship Foundation by contribution to this most worthy cause. In the Spring edition of the Penn Life, there were 27 members from Branch 13 who contributed to the Scholarship Foundation through premium payments. That’s great, but let’s try to make it 100% ’cause every contribution counts. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jenci of Yardley, Pa. who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 15 at the Grand Ballroom of the Hungarian Reformed Church in Trenton. The couple has two children, Mrs. Olga Wayda, and Dr. Joseph Jenci, both of Yardley and four grandchildren. We wish each of the honorees many more years of health and happiness together. Our regular monthly meetings are held on the first Sunday of each month commencing at 2:00 P.M. at the American Hungarian Democratic Citizen’s Club on So. Clinton Avenue, Trenton, N.J.
