Each hour of the three hundred and sixty-five days, 1 will give you sixty minutes that have never known the use of anyone. I simply present them. It remains for you to fill them with sixty jeweled seconds of love, hope, endeavor, patience and common sense. Do use me wisely.” Katona, Mary Kofarago, John E. Anthony, William (Continued on Page 22) Children's Hospital Of Pittsburgh The Fraternal Societies of Greater Pittsburgh—of which our society is a member—has been taking an active part since 1977 by soliciting funds for the needy children at Pittsburgh’s Children’s Hospital. The member societies appointed Brother Michael Stivoric, then the President of the Fraternal Societies of Greater Pittsburgh, to represent us as Press Old Newsboy. Michael is the National First Vice President of the Croatian Fraternal Union. Since 1977, through the help of members of our Society and others, Michael has been able to raise $13,009.98 for Children’s Hospital. The Press Old Newsboy of which he is a part, in 1978 jointly collected $703,300. This year, the Officers, Directors and Employees contributed the sum of $686.00 to this worthy cause. As members of the William Penn Association, we should all feel proud in the role that our Fraternal Benefit System plays. We not only help our own members but we are dedicated and committed to help others in our community in time of need. This truly is Fraternalism in Action.
