Christmas carols and Santa Claus came bringing gifts. A magician supplied the entertainment and kept the children and adults mystified. Election of Officers was held at the December meeting and Officers for 1981 are: John Bunchy, President; Mike Tomcsak, Vice President; Anna Wash, Secretary-Treasurer and also Reporter; John Kaluczky and Leslie Wash, Auditors. We want to thank everyone who bought or sold Raffle Tickets. Rev. Farkas pulled the winning tickets—1st prize: Frank Konya; 2nd prize: Mary Lukach. Due to our success, $300.00 was donated towards the Penn Scenic View “Ohio Cabin” building fund. Branch meetings will be held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Hungary Church on Belevista. The committee made up of all the branches helped make this affair a huge success. We recommend that the Home Office continue to support one of the outstanding fraternal activities of the Association. Branch 28 Christmas Party Branch 28 Youngstown, Ohio The Annual Children’s Christmas Party was held on December 13th at Calvin Center. President John Bunchy welcomed both children and parents and ex­tended Holiday Greetings. A short program followed. Santa Claus (Mike Tomcsak) led the children and parents in Carol singing. There were gifts of candy and also door prizes. Refreshments were enjoyed by all. We want to thank the Home Office for providing the financial assistance which made this event a success. We want to thank the members who helped at the Christmas Party: John and Ester Bunchy, Leslie and Anna Wash, John and Helen Kaluczky and Pat Nameth. Branch members are asked to attend meetings.
