Branch 76 Philadelphia, Pa. We held our Annual Dinner Dance on Saturday, November 1st, and we are happy to report that it was a grand success. Once again we had a nice turnout. Incidentally, it was our 23rd, since we celebrated our Branch’s 50th anniversary in 1958. That was the start, and with the wonderful support of the area William Penn Branches and the local community, it gives us the incentive to carry on. We plan to hold our next year’s affair on Saturday, November 7, 1981, at the same location. Our most sincere thanks to the officers and members of Branch 13, Trenton; Branch 16, Perth Amboy; Branch 19, New Brunswick; Branch 22, Roebling, all these branches of New Jersey who attended our affair. At our December Branch meeting, we elected the following officers for the coming year: Joe Karoly, President; Helen Schenkel, Vice President; Dan Rosenfeld, Recording Secretary; Elsie Szemes, Treasurer; and the Auditors, Annabel Karoly and Marge Rosenfeld. We extend our most sincere sympathy to our long time members, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rosenthal and family on the tragic death of their son David in an auto accident. This is the second tragedy that befell a young member of the Rosenthal family in recent years. For your insurance needs and all related data, please contact Steve Szemes, Branch Manager.
