Through the facilities of Scenic View we hope to develop our Junior membership back to the heights where it once stood and from where will come the future leaders of the Association. It was also decided to once again provide some space in the William Penn Life to the Hungarian reading membership. Approval was granted to continue sponsoring Tours to Hungary and elsewhere. It was heartwarming to see the en­thusiasm of the delegates when pro­viding for expanded fraternal ac­tivities, it was through fraternalism that our Association grew and pros­pered and it is through expanded ac­tivities that we shall become a great Hungarian oriented fraternal benefit society. On Tuesday evening, September 1 1, 1979, there was a banquet honoring the delegates. Preceding the Dinner-Dance there was a social hour. Mr. Elmer Charles, National President was the Toastmaster, after extending words of greeting and welcome he called upon Vice President Stephen T. Szilagyi and George Charles, Jr. to lead in the singing of the National Anthem. Rev. Imre Kovács, Pastor United Church of Christ, Springdale, Pa. gave the invocation. Principal speaker was Hon. Harvey Bartle, III, Insurance Commissioner of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Greetings were ex­tended by Raymond F. Klee, Ex­ecutive Vice President National Fraternal Congress of America; Zoltán Gombos, Editor-Publisher of Szabadság and Népszava Hungarian newspapers; Dr. August J. Molnár, President American Hungarian Foun­dation; András Kasnyik, Hungarian Consulate General from New York: a most interesting and enlightening speech was given by the Rt. Rev. Ár­pád George, National President Reformed Federation of America, would that the good Lord grant the allegorical courtship he talked about resulting in a happy marriage in the not too distant future. We sincerely urge ^ 6 all Branches to provide for a ] } Children 's Christmas Party this 7 year. These parties have proven : I to be successful in the past and ft we look forward to many more , £: Branches holding Christmas T Parties in December 1979. The Board of Directors fully } understand that in order to have 7 a successful Children's y Christmas Party it requires a rt tremendous amount of work on £: the part of the Branch Officers y and requires sacrificing some of 7 their time, however, the Board J feels that the effort is well worth ft it because of the happiness it , |c brings to our youthful \ ' members.
