i. following remarks which are hereby attached and made a part of these Minutes. Mr. Chairman, Convention Delegates, Ladies and Gentlemen: I want to thank you for your kind introduction. 1 am grateful for granting me the honor and privilege to administer the installation and the oath of office to the re-elected National Officers, National Directors and Auditing Committee Members. Before I proceed may I say a few words. Four years ago before I performed the installation I said that the convention proceedings were unbelievable as it was the first modern convention we held. Today 1 say that the 29th Convention of the William Penn Association was historical because to my knowledge I have not heard of a fraternal association to hold a convention and elect its National Officers and Directors in a more harmonious and fraternal spirit then our 29th Convention elected its National Officers for the next four years. After listening to the most comprehensive report of our administration I felt and 1 believe that the convention delegates felt that the administration under the inspiring guidance of our National President Elmer Charles has done an outstanding job. While I feel our National Officers deserve our most outstanding praise they could not have accomplished these fraternal and financial benefits without the wholehearted and comprehensive support of our National Directors for which they deserve our most heartfelt thanks. May the good Lord bless you all and guide you to further success and benefit to our William Penn Association and its membership. I will now proceed with the installation of our National Officers, National Directors and Auditing Committee Members. Following his remarks, Mr. Radvany proceeded to install the newly elected National Officers, Board of Directors and Auditing Committee Members. 94) Chairman Charles stated there would be a short meeting of the Board of Directors and Auditing Committee members in his room at 12:00 o’clock noon. 95) Mr. Charles, Convention Chairman, stated that the moment is here to bring to a conslusion the 29th General Convention. All during the four days we have been together he has heard nothing but kind, generous, beautiful, The Officers and Directors extend condolences to the families of the below listed deceased members of the William Penn Association JULY.1979 001 Del Crognale, Mrs. K., Easton, Conn.
