We are pleased to inform the members of William Penn Association that there will be a Charter Flight leaving Greater Pittsburgh International Airport, Tues­day, August 17, 1977, arriving in Buda­pest on Wednesday, August 18, 1977. This air transportation will cost $415.00 per person, subject to increase in gaso­line price. There are only 180 seats available, therefore, those members who would like to go on this flight should forward a deposit of $100.00 for each person. Check to be made payable to 1st State Savings Association, but mailed to William Penn Association, 429 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15219. This tour is only available to William Penn Association regular members. The Association has made arrange­ments with the Magyarok Vilagszovet­­sege in Hungary1 to schedule two land­­tours to the various parts of Hungary, details of these land-tours can be found at the end of this article. Those wish­ing to take part in the land-tour should indicate choice on the application. A minimum of 40 persons required for each tour. If less than 40 persons sign up for participation in the land-tour, it will be cancelled. The airflight will arrive in Budapest, Hungary, Thursday, August 18, 1977 — for that day bus transportation from Airport to Hotel $3.40 and hotel room cost is $14.60 per person, double occu­pancy—no meals. Friday, August 19, 1977 is a day of rest and personal sight­seeing in Budapest — hotel room cost $14.60 per person, double occupancy — no meals. Saturday, August 20th, 1977, is St. Stephen or Constitution Day in Hungary. Sightseeing in Budapest by bus (Fort of Buda, Mátyás Church, Water Parade on Danube), lunch in the hotel, afternoon free time, dinner at the hotel, after dinner a fireworks display. Sightseeing, meals and hotel, double oc­cupancy—$29.10 per person for this day. September 7, 1977, night before re­turn to U.S.A., farewell dinner and lodg­ing for this night—$23.00 per person, double occupancy. This fee also includes breakfast and transportation to Ferihegy airport on September 8, 1977. Total of this package is $84.70 per person, double occupancy. All those members planning to parti­cipate in this 2nd Annual Tour to Hun-The Nation’s Capitol, Washington, D.C. will be the scene of the 1977 Na­tional Bowling Tournament. For years there have been requests that for a change, Washington be the site of the Tournament. Heeding the many requests the Board of Directors selected the Na­tion’s Capitol for the site of the Tour­nament. Actually the headquarters Hotel, The Sheraton National, is located in Arling­ton, Va. — across the river from Wash­ington right off 1-95 South and next to the Pentagon. The Fair Lanes Bowling Lanes are located in Springfield, Va. These facilities have been used for Na­tional televising of the Pro-Bowlers Tour and are conveniently located off 1-95 South about 20 minutes from Washing­ton. This will be an opportunity for the William Penn Bowlers to see the inter­esting and historical sights of Washing­ton, D.C. Those who will want to visit other countries will need double entry visa into Hungary. The Board of Directors has again made it possible for members to join in a membership enrollment campaign thereby earning points (dollars) to help defray the costs of this trip. Memorial Day falls on Monday the 29th thus it affords the William Penn members an extra day for sightseeing. The Hotel management will provide accommodations for days prior to the Tournament and after for the same special rate as for the Tour­nament. There will be a banquet Saturday evening with interesting entertainment program to be followed by dancing. As has been the custom for the past several years the William Penn Frater­nal Association Scholarship Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors will hold their annual meeting Saturday, May 28, 1977 in the Headquarters Hotel. Mr. Gus G.
