There were 36 applicants this year. The Foundation was able to award 5 extra Scholarships this year through the generosity of the William Penn Association Board of Directors who provided for 5 $150.00 scholarships. All of us appreciate this fine fraternal gesture. Once again we appeal to our members for contributions to this worthy cause. It would be nice to be able to provide all qualified applicants with a scholarship grant. It would also be nice if we could increase the amount of the individual grants. This will only be possible, however, if our members and friends of the Scholarship Foundation contribute generously.
