STELKOVICS, Secretary Club, West Mifflin, Pa. The affair was a sell-out sale of tickets had to be stopped weeks before the event. Those attending enjoyed an excellent meal in beautiful surroundings, large picture windows of the dining room overlooking the greens of the golf course, an ideal location for a dinnerdance. There was a brief program in which Mr. Gus G. Nagy as Coordinator for the Committee introduced Albert J. Stelkovics, Secretary of the Scholarship Foundation as Toastmaster. Fr. Paul Bolvary, Assistant Pastor, St. Ann R.C. Church, Hazelwood, gave the invocation. Mr. Elmer Charles, President of the Foundation extended greetings and welcomed one and all. Mr. Leonard Staissy, Chairman Allegheny County Board of Commissioners addressed the assembled group. The following were introduced: Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Charles, Vice-President and Mrs. John P. Nagy, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Toth, Branch 89, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Nagy, Branch 71, Director and Mrs. John Sabo, Director and Mrs. Michael Kara, Auditor and Mrs. James Beganyi, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Fodor, Branch 349, Weirton, W.Va., Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel Czerhai, Branch 71, Duquesne, Pa., Mr. and Mrs. John Toth, Branch 89, Homestead, Pa., Mr. and Mrs. Steve Petniska, Branch 8, Johnstown, Pa., Mr. and Mrs. Louis Jesso, Branch 150, Uniontown, Pa., Mr. and Mrs. Mr. LEONARD C. STAISEY, Chairman, Allegheny County Board of Commissioners 25 Scholarships Awarded The Awards Committee of the William Penn Fraternal Association Scholarship Foundation Inc., met in the month of June to award scholarship grants for the 1974/75 academic year. In accordance with the new rules and regulations awardees from last year were automatic recipients this year provided proper scholastic records were submitted with their request. These awardees are: John Gieger, Branch 48, New York, N.Y., continued on page 2 John Bokor, Branch 141, Ellwood City, Pa. Ellwood City Magyar Club, Hazelwood Magyar Club. From the Home Office Staff: Mr. and Mr. ELMER CHARLES, President Mrs. John Tusai, Mr. and Mrs. John L. Lovász, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Kozma Miss Julia R. Orosz, Hungarian Garden of Songs program, Dr. Victor Molnár, Hungarian radio program, Ms. Marianne Cannavine, Miss Magyar of Western Pennsylvania, Mr. and Mrs. John Karácson, Principal Steel Valley High School. Co-Chairmen were Elmer Toth, Branch 89 and Michael Kara, Branch 34 with Roger Nagy, Branch 71, and John Tusai, Branch 34 as assistant chairmen. Music for dancing was furnished by Mickey Schwartz and his orchestra. We heard nothing but favorable comments about the entire evening and everyone is looking forward to the Fourth Annual Western, Pa. Dinner-Dance in 1975. Proceeds of the evening amounting more than $1,100.00 was turned over to the Scholarship Foundation Treasury. A sincere thanks from the Committee to all who participated and made the evening such a tremendous success.
