William Penn-ers In The News BARBARA JEAN LANG BARBARA JEAN LANG, daughter of Dirctor and Mrs. Stephen M. Lang, Jr., graduated “Magna Cum Laude” with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from the University of Pitts­burgh. Barbara graduated with High Honors from Bethlehem Catholic High School in 1969. While at college she was a member of the Delta, Delta, Delta Sororiety. She hopes to teach elementary education in the Pittsburgh School District. She is also a life member of the William Penn Association. GREGORY M. LANG, son of Director and Mrs. Stephen M. Lang, Jr., Bethle­hem, Pa., has received his Doctor of Medi­cine Degree from the University of Pitts­burgh School of Medicine. Dr. Lang is a 1969 graduate “Magna Cum Laude” of Allentown College of St. Francis De Sales having received a bache­lor’s degree in Biology. He was selected by the faculty to be the speaker of the College’s first graduat­ing class. — His wife is the former Cyn­thia Hawk of Hanover Township and is a graduate Nurse of Abington Hospital. Dr. Lang will be serving his internship and residency at Strong Memorial Hos­pital of the University of Rochester, spe­cializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He was selected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha, a Medical Honor Society. Dr. Lang is a life long member of the William Penn Association. Dr. Lang and Barbara Lang are grand­children of the late Stephen Lang, Sr., who for more than 25 years was a Di­rector of the Association and was also an Illustrious Member. The proud parents are Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Lang. Mr. Lang is Director of the Association hav­ing followed in the footsteps of his Father. DOBOZI TO BEGIN RESIDENCY IN SURGERY William R. Dobozi, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephan Dobozi of 46 Judson Rd., Masury, was awarded the degree of medical doctor from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, Chicago, 111. The 103rd commencement ceremony was held June 9 at the Palmer House. Dr. Dobozi, a graduate of Brookfield High School, attended John Carroll Uni­versity, Cleveland, Ohio, where he was graduated cum laude in 1969. While there, he was a member of Alpha Epsilon DR. WILLIAM R. DOBOZI Delta national premedical honor society. Dr. Dobozi will begin his four-year re­sidency training in orthopedic surgery June 29 at Northwestern University Hos­pital, Chicago, 111. Dr. Dobozi is the son of Mr. Stephen Dobozi who has been President of Branch 26, Sharon, Pa. for many decades. He has been a convention delegate for several conventions and most recently was award­ed the Illustrious Citation for meritorious service. We share in the joy and happiness of the Dobozi family. 7
