Toastmaster, Director Frank J. Radvany thanked the committee and everyone who helped in making this affair successful. Election of Branch Officers was held at the December 3rd meeting and the fol­lowing were re-elected: Mr. Stephen Vechy, President, Mr. Stephen Lestician, Vice-President, Mrs. Elsie Radvany, Sec­retary, Mr. Anthony Beke, Treasurer, and Mr. Joseph Hamari, Auditor. Congratulations and the best to all our elected Officers for 1973. Our Annual Children’s Christmas Party was held at the St. Stephen’s Parish Hall on December 10th and as usual the chil­dren and adults had an enjoyable time. Director Frank J. Radvany welcomed everyone to the party and introduced the entertainment group sponsored by the Irene Parker Dancing Studio, who always does a beautiful job with her variety dancing and acting. After the entertain­ment Santa Claus arrived with his jovial and cheery hello’s, distributed stockings full of goodies and a gift to all the chil­dren. Santa then helped pull door prizes and all the children received another beautiful gift. After Santa’s departure, refreshments were served to everyone at the party. Trenton, now after many years of ab­sence on radio, has a Hungarian Hour on a local Radio Station. Tune in on Sundays from 2:30 to 3:30 on WTTM, Trenton, 920 on your radio dial and listen to the George Pregg and Son Hungarian Hour. George and Son give you lots of enjoy­able Hungarian Music, so tune in on Sun­day afternoon. Miss Margaret Kovach, Reporter 15 Chicago, 111. On December 10th, 1972, Branch 15 held its annual Officer’s Election. Two important subjects were brought up, one suggested by the Home Office that the Branch become a voting member of the Scholarship Foundation. The Presi­dent put the resolution before the mem­bers and explained in detail that it is a worthwhile cause for- any member if he or she is willing to further their educa­tion. Motion was unanimously adopted. The meeting also adopted that as of Janu­ary 1st, 1973, the Branch shall donate in memóriám for deceased members $10.00 in their name. The President then thank­ed the members for their attendance and support and on behalf of all the officers resigned all the positions. At the urging of the members, they requested that the same officers be retained if they are will­ing to remain. All officers agreed to re­main for the year 1973. The Christmas party got on the way at 3:15 P. M. with cartoons being shown in color for an hour by our Secretary Stephen Hodits. After the movies had been enjoyed by the parents as well as by the children, there were plenty of hot dogs and soda. Santa’s helpers were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lakics, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Tek­­lics, Mr. and Mrs. Imre Bosits and The Hodits Family. These officers also do­nated their honorariums. The Party was held at the Armenian Church Hall at 6700 W. Diversey Avenue. Joseph Hodits, President 16 Perth Amboy, N. J. Branch 16 held its annual Children’s Christmas Party on December 3rd, 1972 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall, Smith St., Perth Amboy, N. J. Stephen Mészáros, Branch Manager, acted as Master of Ceremonies. He intro­duced Michael Hrabar, Branch President and National Auditor, tvho thanked every­one for attending and wished everyone Happy Holidays from the Branch and National Officers. The children showed some of their talents by dancing and singing. Our Boys Banton Bowling Team sang carols and had everyone singing. They were ac­companied by George Mirkonich, accord­ionist. The Great Sardo, Magician enter­tained with tricks of magic and the chil­dren participated. Santa was enjoyed by all. Committee members were, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hrabar, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Mészáros, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hrabar, Mr. and Mrs. Alysious Kreger, Mr. and Mrs. George Merkovich, Miss Annette Hrabar, Frank Hrabar and Gary Salontai. Newly elected officers are, President Michael Hrabar, Vice President: Stephen Mészáros, Secretary: Michaelene Merko­vich, Treasurer: Alysious Kreger, Audi­tors: Mary Mészáros and George Merko­vich and Reporter: Ann Hrabar. Congratulations and Best of Luck to everyone in the New Year. Ann Hrabar, Reporter 18 Detroit, Mich. Branch 18 extends its congratulations and best wishes to William Kovács the new General Agent for the William Penn in the Detroit area. We are most pleased to welcome you “Bill” and the best of luck. Back row: Andrew Toth, Frank Kender, Frank Csiszár, László Kubovics and James Lochinger. following results: All of the officers were re-elected with the exception of one Auditor by unanimous vote. President Steve Danko, Vice Presidents Frank Csiszár and Andrew Toth, Secretary Elvira László, Treasurer Steve New, Controller Steve P. Danko, Auditors Frank Kato (new), Frank Kender, Betty Kocsis, László Kubovics and James Lochinger. The oath of office was ad­ministered by Director John P. Vespremi. The Children’s Annual Christmas Party was held immediately after the annual meeting. Due to the inclement weather we had only about 185 children attend the affair. The program consisted of two dance numbers by the Hungária Jr. Boys Group, solos and group Christmas Carols were sung by the children until SANTA CLAUS appeared with his bag of gifts. Each child received a beautiful gift from the Branch plus a bag of potato chips and pop. Christmas Carol books sent by the Home Office were also presented to each child. The parents were treated to pastry Ladies Auxiliary officers, I to r.: Helen Ne­meth, Martha Balosé, Elvira László, Irma Herr and Julia Danko. and coffee which was donated by the members of the Ladies Auxiliary who also helped with the serving.
