Dunne’s Insurance Reports is completely independent of any insurance institution. Its only function is to prepare and publish financial statistics and analyses of insurance company operations; to express its opinion, when possible, of an institution’s ability to meet financial obligations to its policyhold­ers; to provide its comments on various phases of an institution’s operations; and to publish other data and information of inter­est to policyholders. All opinions and com­ments are entirely from the viewpoint of policyholders. The William Penn Fraternal Associa­tion has furnished us with a copy of its December 31, 1971, financial statement for examination, analysis, and opinion. Our analysis reveals the following: GENERAL INFORMATION—The As­sociation was incorporated under the in­surance laws of Pennsylvania on Novem­ber 29, 1886 and commenced business Feb­ruary 21, 1886. It is chartered as a Fraternal Benefit Association. Territory in which the Association is authorized to transact business includes: California, Connecticut, District of Co­lumbia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mas­sachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsyl­vania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wis­consin.
