Dunne’s Insurance Reports is completely independent of any insurance institution. Its only function is to prepare and publish financial statistics and analyses of insurance company operations; to express its opinion, when possible, of an institution’s ability to meet financial obligations to its policyholders; to provide its comments on various phases of an institution’s operations; and to publish other data and information of interest to policyholders. All opinions and comments are entirely from the viewpoint of policyholders. The William Penn Fraternal Association has furnished us with a copy of its December 31, 1971, financial statement for examination, analysis, and opinion. Our analysis reveals the following: GENERAL INFORMATION—The Association was incorporated under the insurance laws of Pennsylvania on November 29, 1886 and commenced business February 21, 1886. It is chartered as a Fraternal Benefit Association. Territory in which the Association is authorized to transact business includes: California, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
