Hungarian language classes for adults, East Side: Rice Library, 2820 E. 116th St. near Buckeye; West Side: Carnegie West Library, Fulton and Bridge Ave. There is a $7.00 fee con­nected with this class. The Cleve. Press calls the Buckeye area A Continental City Within The City. The Hungarian Lutheran Church held their annual dinner February 4, 1968 at the Church hall. We were glad to see the ladies of Br. 14 at the meeting, Mrs. Kovatch, Mrs. Fodor and some of the men who came were Jimmy Gall, Bert Szilagyi, Julius Yuhasz. Ex Animo Joseph J. Fifteen members braved the zero tem­peratures and brisk wind to venture to New York City to attend the Branch 48 Dinner-Dance. An enjoyable evening was had by all. Birthday greeting are extended to Special Agent, Stephen Mészáros, Mr. and Mrs. John Mészáros. All on the same day. Annette Hrabar, age 11, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hrabar won three trophies in the Middlesex County Ban­tam Bowling Tournament. Our Branch meeting in March will be on Monday nite, the 19th at the Branch Office. — Please make every effort to attend. — The New Jersey Dinner-Dance Com­mittee is working diligently to insure the success of the affair, which will be held on Saturday night, April the 20th at the H.A.A.C. Auditorium (198 Som­erset Street, New Brunswick, N. J.). — A very delicious dinner will be served. Speeches will be during dinner to give our guests ample time for entertain­ment. The same Kara-Nemeth Orchestra which supplied the program at the Bowling Tournament will play. We are sure you are going to have an unfor­gettable evening. Get your reservations early, the tickets are going fast. We are preparing to go to Youngstown Bowling Tournament by bus. We are registering people on a first come first served basis. The William Penn Mixed Double bowlers, with the help of President Joe Pinkocze and Secretary Margaret Graham, are busy lining up their teams. The bowlers are having a very successful season this year and we hope they continue to do so. Plans for the forthcoming Tournament are progressing very well. Our chair­­lady, Mary Tomcsak and her committee are working very hard and hope to make this the “Silver Anniversary Tour­nament” the best yet. They are also planning on a few surprises for the bowlers. We here in Youngstown are looking forward to seeing all of our old friends and meeting many new ones. Now don’t forget to get those entries in because the deadline is MARCH 15, 1968. Anniversary wishes are being sent to these happy couples: Don and Veronica Weingardt, Stan and Ceil Vengren, Sán­dor and Mary Tollas and to our past branch president and reporter, John and Margaret Bunchy on their 39th anniversary. Congratulations to all. Birthday greetings go along to Eugene Sakasits, Irene Pinkocze, Jack Palmer, Mary Leslie Tomcsak and Paul Bence Sr. Our sympathies are extended to the families of Mrs. Esther Kovach and Mr. Michael Zboray. Members, don’t forget our regular meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 P.M. in St. Stephens Hall. A social will follow each meeting. On Saturday, February 10, 1968, the Officers and members of Branch 48 held a Testimonial Dinner and Dance at the St. Mary’s Church of the Byzantine on East 15th Street, honoring Mr. John Május, for his loyal service to the Branch and to our Association. Judging by the large attendance at this affair, we feel that John has made many friends, and this was one way to thank him, for his services. Pres.; Mrs. John Marhan, Mrs. John Május, Honored Guest John Május, Charles Fabian, Joseph Toma. Mrs. Walter Huthansel, acting as Mistress of Ceremonies, announced the following program for the evening. American National Anthem was sung by Walter Huthansel. Hungarian National Anthem was sung by the audience. In­vocation—Rev. Father Paul Dano, Pastor of St. Mary’s Church of the Byzantine. Branch President, Albert Ibos, extended warm felicitations and Best Wishes to our honored guest on behalf of the Branch Officers and Members, for his faithful service and true spirit of Fra­­ternalism to our Organization. Director Supervisor of Agencies, Joseph Toma, conveyed the Best Wishes of tbe Nation­al Officers and the Board of Directors. He also introduced the following, who headed large delegations from neighbor­ing branches and who came to honor a loyal William Penn worker: Director and Mrs. Michael Hegedűs, Jr., Branch 19, New Brunswick, N.
