Fraternally, George Mészáros, President John Fulop, Dist.-Br. Mgr. the experience gained at former tournaments is paying off. The tournament again drew a lot of big names in the bowling world, a few whom we recall: Lou Farkas, Steve and John Ivancso, Branch 27, Toledo, Ohio; James Borasso, Branch 296, Springdale, Pennsylvania; A1 Stofcho, Bela Balogh, Gene Toth, Branch 14, Cleveland, Ohio; Andrew Blasko and John Barkó, Branch 514, Youngstown, Ohio; Joseph Hodits and James Radi, Branch 503, Chicago, Illinois; Stephanie Balogh and Antonia Tanko, Branch 14, Cleveland, Ohio; Bette Barany, Branch 132, South Bend, Indiana; and others. The modern and spacious bowling estáblishment with 42 al^ys was taxed to capacity at all times. The many bowlers and the many spectators numbered as high as two thousand at various times. The highlight of the affair was the opening ceremonies during which National President John Bencze rolled the first ball to start the bowlers. The trophies were awarded to the winners by the members of the Board of Directors. Please see pictures elsewhere in this issue. Our tournaments are becoming so large that it is getting to be quite a. problem to stage our affairs' in two days. The National Executive Tournament Committe will report the results of its experiences to the Board of Directors at their next regular meeting. Any Verhovay center, having bowling establishments with sufficient number of alleys and good hotels, with one hall, large enough to accommodate at least 1,000 people at a banquet-style dinner,, which would be interested in being considered as a future tournament site, should immediately write to John Sabo, Tournament Administrator, Verhovay Fraternal Insurance Association, 436 Fourth Avenue, Pittsburgh 19, Pennsylvania. All letters presented to the Nationnal Executive Tournament Committee will be turned over to the Board of Directors for consideration and further action. J In conclusion we wish to inform everyone that the complete prize lists can be found elsewhere in this issue. We hope that everyone who made the trek to Toledo enjoyed himself, especially our dear friends from the Pacific Coast, Branch 525 members, Los Angeles, California, who for the second time made the long trip under the leadership of Director Alexander Gyulay.
