This was accomplished by electing Joseph Soltész, Jr. branch manager. Mr. Soltész is alsó manager at Branch 208. For any Verhovay matters Mr. Soltész may be contacted at Box 126, Filbert, W. Va. WINDBBK, PA. Branch 33 ELECTION The year end meeting and elec­tion of officers at Branch 33 was held December 23, 1951. Stephen Papp was elected presi­dent, George Modock manager, Frank Kaloczky vice-president, Paul Gyorfi and Joseph Tamas auditors. Mr. Papp, 653 R. R. Street, is sick visit« for 17, 35 and 36 Streets. Mr. Modock is sick visitor in Wind­­ber and vicinity. Aaron Molnár visits the sick at 42 Place. The members are reminded that illiness should be reported without delay as sick benefit payments are figured from the day of report of illness. Funeral rites for members remain as heretofore. Assessments for the 50th year jubilee are still outstanding. Please make payments immediately. There are also loans which are outstanding. It is to the benefit of the members having loans to clear their debts as soon as possible, or­al least interest chould be paid to keep down the loans. Manager CHICAGO, ILLINOIS Branch PICNIC The Annual Picnic of Branch 37 will be held on J uly 27, 1952, begin­ning at 2:00 P. M., on the grounds of the Burnside Hungarian Home, 817 East 92d Street. Music will be provided by the well known Valentine Szepessy Orchestra. Other Chicago area branches and Hungarian lodges are asked not to plan any social events for July 27 but to join Branch 37 at its Annual Picnic. The more participants the more fun for all. Branch meetings are regularly held the first Sunday of every month beginning at 2 o’clock in hall of the West Side Reformed Church. The members should make it their duty to attend the meetings. Attendance in large numbers is especially important now because plans are to be made for the celeb­ration of the 45th anniversary of the founding of Branch 45. At pre­sent he is stationed at Norfolk. Virginia. Yuhas recently spent a 14 day furlough at home with his parents. Before entering the service George graduated front Cham­pion High School, Class of 1951. A member of Branch 338, Warren, Ohio, Seaman Yuhas is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jo­seph Nagy, R. F. D. 4, Warren. DETROIT, MICHIGAN Branch 500 ELECTION AND NOTICE The year end meeting and elec­tions at Branch 500 were held De­cember 13, 1951 in the American Legion Hall on East Seven Mile Road. M., in the American Legion Hall, 2015 East Seven Mile Road. The members are requested to pay their dues at the meetings, but may pay dues at the home of the branch manager. Dues should be paid by the 25th of the month. In cases when it is impossible to pay either at the meeting or at the branch ma­nager’s home, Mr. Gyiraszin will call for the dues upon such request by telephone. Report of illness should be made immediately in order not to incur loss or delay payment.
