After several months of planning and hard work, the remodeling of the Verhovay Home was finally completed. The members should be proud, indeed, of the beautiful club rooms where they may gather to enjoy fellowship in modern and pleasant surroundings. President Wm. Pompelia opened the program by extending cordial greetings to the members and guests on this gala occasion. He then introduced Charles Kuhar who so capably guided the pogram as the Master of Ceremonies. Branch Manager Alex Chobody then gave a brief, but very interesting, resume of the past history of Branch 88. He also had high praise for Sam Napyer, Jesse Bodis, and Daniel Makrancy the only surviving charter members who had helped to organize the branch back in 1914. Among the guests who made congratulatory remarks was Field Supervisor Elmer Charles who conveyed the best wishes and congratulations in behalf of the Home Office.
