Vác has had rights to hold four national markets and a weekly market based on a license received from Maria Teresa. The Monday and Friday markets were held at the Main square. Craftsmen set up stand at the Church of the White Monks and grain carts were lined up to Arany Szarvas inn. Poultry- and fish-markets were at Szentháromság square and fruit market and the riverbanks. The markets and gatherings - where important news were announced and the defendant was verbally called upon - were held on the vast fields of the Bishopric, extending from the Lutheran church to the'Red House'.

Vác durfte nach der Erlaubnis von Maria Theresia aus dem Jahr 1761 vier Staatmärkte und einen Wochenmarkt abhalten. Die Wochenmärkte montags und freitags wurden am Hauptplatz veranstaltet. Vor der Kirche der Weißen waren die Handwerker angesiedelt, bis zum Gasthof „Goldener Hirsch" die Getreidehändler. Auf dem Dreifaltigkeitsplatz befand sich der Geflügel- und Fischmarkt, am Donauufer der Obstmarkt. Die großen Märkte wurden auf dem großen Marktplatz zwischen der evangelischen Kirche und dem „Roten Haus“, auf der ehemaligen bischöflichen Weide, abgehalten.

Mesto Vác malo styri celostátne jarmoky a právo na usporiadanie tyzdennych jarmokov, ktoré mestu udelila Mária Terézia v roku 1761. Pondelkové a piatkové tyzdenné trhy boli usporiadané na hlavnom námestí. Pred kostolom bielych mali miesta remeselníci, odtiaí smerom hőre po hostinec U zlatého jelena vozy s obilím. Today, the market is located behind the Church of the White Monks. A stone-frame gate is installed at its entrance, which was saved from the long gone Zöldfa Mills, carved by Mátyás Chmelich in 1755.

Heute befindet sich der Markt hinter der Kirche der Weißen. Als Eingang dient das ehemalige Tor mit dem Steinrahmen der bischöflichen Mühle von Zöldfai, eine Arbeit des Steinmetz Mátyás Chmelich von 1755.

Súcasné trhovisko mesta sa rozprestiera za kostolom Bielych. Vchod na trhovisko tvorí stará brána zaniknutého biskupského mlynu U zeleného stromu, ktorú vytesal kamenár Chmelich Mátyás v roku 1755.
