A Széchenyi utca a város egyik legöregebb utcája, melyen át Hatvan felé vezetett országút. Ez az utca kötötte össze a főteret a Vásártérrel. Nevezetes épülete volt az Arany Hordó vendégló', ami emeletráépítés után a Tragor, majd az Ottó család kereskedőháza lett. Sarkát rendre ott támasztották a „povalyacsok", a naplopók.

Széchenyi street is one of the oldest in the city, it used to connect the main square with Market square. The highway to Hatvan used to run through it. Significant structure was the Arany Hordó inn, which was converted into a commercial building of the Tragor then the Ottó family by adding a second floor to it. Hoodlums used to hang out around its corner.

Die Széchenyi-Straj^e ist eine der ältesten in der Stadt und führte nach Hatvan. Diese Straße verband den Hauptplatz mit dem Marktplatz. Ein berühmtes Gebäude an der Straße ist das Gasthaus „Goldenes Fass", nach dem Zubau eines zweiten Stockes wurde es zum Handelshaus der Familie Tragor (später Familie Ottó).

Széchenyi ulica, po ktorej vedie cesta smerom na Hatvan, je najstarsou ulicou mesta. Táto ulica spájala hlavné námestie sTrhoviskom. HostinecZIaty sud bol známou budovou ulice, ktorá po pribudovani poschodia sa stala obchodnou spolocnosfou rodín Ottó a Tragor. Na jeho rohu sa cely den opierali o stenu nanichodnici, „poval’aci”.
