103 spirit of civilization and progress Holy Father! give thy blessing to its children of many tongues and many races that in a holy and brotherly Union may we all consecrate our best powers to its service and prosperity. May thy blessing descend on our apostolic king and his august family. May his throne be surrounded by wise councellors and faithful subjects. May his reign be glorified in the love of his peoples. May thy blessing descend on our schools: true light and spotless morals may ever issue from them. May thy blessing descend on the several churches of different faith: every house of thy worship be in them the fountain of loving faith ; and every servant of thine in them the interpreter of Christian charity. May thy blessing descend on our own church: pure heart and clear conscience, living faith and brotherly love be in it the living stones of thy kingdom. Sanctiy every feeling that arises at the inspiration of thy spirit; found and build it on the rock of religious zeal that it may ever find its highest aim in spreading thy kingdom, which is the kingdom of truth, light and love Amen.
