Rev. Paul Kovács, Administrator of Bethlen Home and Rev. Sándor Farkas, Youngstown, Ohio, presented a "Preliminary Feasibility Study" for such a building to be errected adjacent to the other buildings of Bethlen Home. The report received favorable support from many organizations and individuals. Presently the fund has $177,800, plus estimated donations of $50,000 from churches, major gifts from individuals and organizations. The plan is to start the project with $200,000 and build a "shell" for a suitable building, with a design for future enlargement. The Bethlen Home's present museum already has many artifacts and records covering 150 years of Hungarian History in America. It is our hope that the members of the HETF will join in this effort, and make this project a reality. The Foundation already has enough valuable pieces of art and other literary works, in English, in its possession to fill a room. This project should be taken up at the August 30th meeting. * * * In the last Newsletter we mentioned our "New Project". We have designed a three color (red, white, green) vinyl bumper sticker with the words "Hungarian Eighth Tribe". Cost is $2.00 each. Please let us know if you wish to order one, two or more 'Ye need at least 100 orders before we can place our order with the company. Some members have told us that instead of using them as bumper stickers, they will put them in a frame.
