NoTember, 1981 THE EIGHTH TRIBE Page 3 publishing this magazine and other Hungarian-oriented literature. The present plan of a Hungarian Cultural and Educational Institute of the Eighth Tribe Foundation has nothing to do with the plans of the Bethlen Home to erect a building which would house the Home’s collection of memorabilia and provide day-rooms for those people living in the Home. The Eighth Tribe Foundation’s plan for the Institute is much broader, and includes all Hungarian-Americans. — Hopefully this will answer the questions sent to us. Halvax, in the June issue of “The Eighth Tribe.” I have just returned from Hungary, and as I wrote you in my letter before my departure. I was very sorry that I could not attend the Eighh Tribe Conference in August, but I was unable to change my return ticket to an earlier date. I await with eager interest the full account about the Conference. I hope it had been a success both spiritually for those who attended it and financially for the establishment of the Hungarian Cultural and Educational Institute. Very truly youm, Magda E.
