Please DO NOT DISCONTINUE publication of the Eighth Tribe. I eagerly look forward to each month’s issue. Yours truly, Frank P. Marus Monroe, Michigan To Whom It may Concern, I take this opportunity in writing to you to ask you to be so kind as to send me further information concerning the Eighth Tribe Foundation Conference in Ligonier, Pa. on Auguest 21 and 22, 1981. I have been receiving copies of your publication for some time (athough not a personal subscription) and I am looking forward to being part of this Conference. I strongly feel that this Conference is long over due and its nature and success are extremely important. As a Hungarian American (second generation) I see the fate of the Hungarians in Trenton, New Jersey in very serious shape. All our Churches and Hungarian Organizations all lack the basic element for the furthering and perservation of our Hungarian language and culture — mainly, unity and a common bond. So with these thoughts and reflections in mind, I am looking forward to being in Ligonier with my brother for the Conference. I have spoken to the officers of the various Hungarian Organizations and Churches in the Trenton area but they know little concerning this conference. I have asked them YOUR SUPPORT IS NEEDED TO KEEP THIS MAGAZINE ALIVE! BE AN ADVOCATE IN ITS BEHALF. PRESBYTERS CONFERENCE The 35th Annual Conference of the American Hungarian Reformed Presbyter’s Association will be held on September 6th and 7lh, 1981 in Ligonier, Pa. All Presbyters and church members are urged to attend this conference. HUNGARIAN DAY — MAGYAR NAP at Kenny. cod Park, Duquesne, Pa. — The Hungarian1 Ethnic Group of Western Pennsylvania will hold their annual “Magyar Nap” at Kennywood Park on August 12, 1981. Everybody is invited to the fesivities. individually if I could represent every one of them and they agreed upon this suggestion. I feel that one general voice is much better than all of us not attending. So in turn I will bring with me information concerning all the Hungarian Churches and Organizations that are at present active in Trenton, N. J. I am officially representing St. Stephen King of Hungary Parish of Trenton. This is the only Hungarian Catholic Church in the city. I as!: that you send the above requested information as soon as posible so that I return the registration form with with the required fee. I thank you for listening and with fervent hope and prayer we can always be true to our Hungarian roots and heritage. Sincerely yours, I-ouis M. Pintye Trenton, N. J.
