“A GREAT WEEKEND”

The Fifth Annual HRFA/Bethlen Home Golf Tournament was held at Champion Lakes on July 19, 2003. The weather cooperated, and the 139 golfers enjoyed a wonderful day. A dinner followed with a presentation of plaques to Rev. Dr. Imre G. Bertalan, Honorary President of the HRFA and the late Joseph S. Molnár, former Board member and HRFA Treasurer. His wife, Mrs. Helen Molnár accepted the honor. The evening ended with drawings and prizes.

The weekend ended with the Annual Picnic at The Bethlen Home on July 20. While the grills were starting, a Worship Service was held at the chapel at 11:00 a.m. There was plenty of food, fellowship and fun! Dorothy and Company and the Hungarian Ethnic Dancers entertained us. The HRFA presented a check for $25,000 to the Capital Campaign and made a donation to the Flight 93 Memorial Fund. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! to all the staff and volunteers who made the day a success.
