Alzheimer's Disease alters the memory, logic and personality of those affected. The Memory Walk is the primary national fundraising activity presented by the Alzheimer's Association to benefit local community services and programs for families and individuals living with Alzheimer's Disease. The Walk will be held at Legion-Keener Park in Latrobe, PA on Saturday, October 6, 2001. Everyone joining the Walk and who raises $25.00, gets a Memory Walk T-Shirt. To assist those residents who are going to the Walk, we are raffling off a Crocheted Afghan made by Sandy Pavlick from the Activity Department. The Afghan can be seen in the Gift Shop, and the tickets are $1.00. If you are interested in participating in the Walk or have any questions - PLEASE call Pat Armel at 724- 238-6711. BETHLEN HOME HOLDS ANNUAL HUNGARIAN PICNIC Thank you to everyone who attended the Annual Hungarian Picnic this year and to The Bethen Home Staff and Volunteers for making it a success. The events included the music of Dorothy and Company and dancers from the Hungarian Ethnic Group of Western PA. The music and the dancers were a hit! Mr. and Mrs. Csikesz made their wonderful lángos again this year. Everyone always enjoys it. Magyar Marketing from Youngstown, Ohio had a table of ethnic items. We are already planning for next year's picnic!! Pictured are highlights of the Picnic
