Residents will be able to review the weekly events on the bulletin boards located near each Nursing Station and by the Activity Room. Schedule is subject to change, due to scheduling of programs being done three months in advance. MARCH HIGHLIGHTS Thursday, 5th: Valley School students to visit and work on Easter project with residents at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, 14th: Pizza Bingo Party to be held in the afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the Dining Room. Sunday, 15th: Hungarian Revolution Day is cel­ebrated today. In honor of our Nursing Home and several resident's heritage, a special program will be held in the afternoon; details to be announced. Tuesday, 17th: Happy Saint Patrick's Day! A holiday celebration will be held in the afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the Dining Room, with enter­tainment provided by Gene Peterson. Thursday, 19th: Spring Craft Show set up. Friday, 20th: Spring Craft Show will be held in the Dining Room from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday. Public is welcome to attend. Proceeds benefit Resident Activity Fund. This is also the first day of Spring! Saturday, 21st: Spring Craft Show continues. Monday, 23rd through the 27th: In honor of Women's History Month, discussions of famous women will be held throughout the week. Friday, 27th: March Birthday Party will be held at 2:00 p.m. APRIL HIGHLIGHTS Thursday, 2nd: Valley School Second Grad­ers will visit and assist in egg coloring. Saturday, 4th: Petting Zoo Day will be held in the afternoon at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, 5th through the 12th: Holy Week observed. Sunday, 5th: Palm Sunday Church Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, 9th: Traditional egg hunt to be held in the afternoon; details to be announced. Friday, 10th: Good Friday Church Service and Hymn Sing to be held in the morning at 10:00 a.m. by Rev. Florence Wood. An Easter film will be held in the afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, 11th: Chicken and Egg Races to be held in the afternoon at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, 12th: Happy Easter everyone! Monday, 13th through the 18th: Germanfest Week! Tuesday, 14th: German Luncheon to be held at 12:00 Noon. Thursday, 16th: Entertainment will be provided by a German band at 1:30 p.m. in the Dining Room. Sunday, 19th through the 25th: Travel through America week. Each day we will visit a different state and find out what they're famous for; watch for de­tails. This week is also National Volunteer Recognition Week. Be sure to tell the volunteers when you see them how much you appreciate all they do for you. Wednesday, 22nd: Valley School Third Graders to visit at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, 23rd: VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION LUNCHEON. Tuesday, 28th: April Birthday Party to be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, 30th: Pajama Party at 1:30 p.m.; details to be announced. MAY HIGHLIGHTS Friday, 8th: Mother and Daughter Tea will be held in the afternoon, with details to be posted. Daughters will receive an invitation concerning the details of the program.
