Residents will be able to review events weekly by viewing the bulletin boards located near each Nursing Station and listening to announcements. Also, dates may change closer to the event due to scheduling being done three months in advance. Any questions concerning a program see Bobbi or Sherry. MARCH HIGHLIGHTS Thursday, 14th: Since St. Patrick's Day falls on a Sunday, we will celebrate a few days early. A party will be held in the afternoon with entertainment provided by the Gene Peterson band. Friday, 15th: Hungarian Freedom Fight Day. To honor our Hungarian residents, a luncheon will be held at 12 noon. Expect some Hungarian traditional dishes! Sunday, 11th: HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVERYONE!! BE SURE TO WEAR YOUR GREEN! Friday, 22nd: Spring Craft Show 10 a.m.to 4 p.m. Saturday, 23rd: Spring Craft Show 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, 31 st: PALM SUNDAY - A special Easter presentation will be held in the afternoon by the West Bolivar First Church of Christ at 3 p.m. APRIL HIGHLIGHTS Monday, 1st: April Fool's Day...watch out someone may try to trick you. Weather permitting, our traditional Easter Egg Hunt will be held outdoors starting at 2 p.m., so grab your basket and bunny ears and be prepared to win some prizes. Tuesday, 2nd: Easter Luncheon to be held at 12 noon. Oh no, Bobbi and Sherry are cooking again!! Wednesday, 3rd: Valley School of Ligonier's 4th graders will assist Residents in coloring eggs. Also, a social is planned afterwards. Egg coloring starts at 1:30 in the Dining Room. Thursday, 4th: The Easter Party will be held at 1:30 in the Dining Room with entertainment provided by the Blair Elton Band. Friday, 5th: Good Friday Sunday, 7th: HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! Thursday, 18th: Outing scheduled, watch for details. Sunday, 21st to Saturday, 27th: National Volunteer Recognition Week. Residents be sure to "Thank" the volunteers for all their kindness and smiling faces. Monday, 21 st: Coffee hour will be held at 1:30 with Residents nominating for May Queen. Thursday, 25th: Volunteer Recognition Luncheon to be held at 12 noon in the Dining Room. MAY HIGHLIGHTS Wednesday, 1st: Crowning of the May Queen who will reign over the May Day Party sponsored by the Ligonier Women's Club that afternoon at 1:30 in the Dining Room. National Nurse's Week May 5th through the 11th. Wednesday, 8th: Staff Appreciation and Nurse's Day Luncheon will be held by the Activity Department for all departments. Resident Tea Party and Social will be at 1:30 on 2nd floor patio, weather permitting. Friday, 10th: In honor of our lady residents, a Mother's Day Luncheon will be held in their honorât 12 noon in the Dining Room, followed by entertainment. Thursday, 16th: A Strawberry Festival will be held in the afternoon in the Solarium. Details will be posted. National Nursing Week is celebrated from the 19th to the 25th. Monday, 20th: Opening Ceremony and the start of the Senior Games. Tuesday, 21st: Senior Games continue. Please watch bulletin boards for details. Wednesday, 22nd: Pie Throwing Contest at staff members.
