Pansy meaning appreciation, dedication, and thoughtfulness. What better words describe our “VOLUNTEERS”! Many “THANKS” to our Dietician Edith Kovács and Dietary Supervisor Esther Berkey for the wonderful lunch they prepared for that afternoon. It was enjoyed by all. “THANKS” to Volunteer President Nancy Robertson and Volunteer Florence Wood for their participation in the program. You both did a wonderful job. Fifty-six Volunteers, along with staff members, were in attendance. It was a great afternoon of fellowship, especially with those Volunteers who work behind the scenes who we don't get to see as often as we’d like. Each Volunteer was presented with a small gift and certificate for their hard work and dedication. This year, over 1,580 hours were donated by our Volunteers. We are very proud to have such great Volunteers here at our home. We salute you! Also, tnis year’s Volunteer of the Year was Nellie Welty. Congratulations on a job well done.
