Paul Kovács, Administrator; and Queen of Hearts, Resident Helen Percha. The King and Queen of Hearts have their traditional Valentine Kiss. Each year, the Activity Department sponsors a King and Queen of Hearts Contest for Valentine’s Day. The winners are announced on Valentine’s Day, and reign over the festivities that afternoon. This year’s nominees forthe Queen of Hearts were Residents Helen Acs, Erzabet Zilaghy, and Helen Percha. Nominees for King of Hearts were Bill Sohajda, Jay Marrietta, and Lester Ray. All of these residents were great sports in joining in on the fun. Each was presented with a corsage, candy, and a Valentine token. A Valentine Sweetheart’s Dinner was held in honor of all the nominees prior to the crowning of the King and Queen of Hearts. Several residents, along with their spouses, attended the event. Unfortunately, there can only be one winner. This year’s King and Queen of Hearts are Residents HELEN PERCHA and JAY MARRIETTA. The Valentine's Party was sponsored by the Ligonier Women’s Club. Entertainment was provided by Brenda Funk, and a fun afternoon was had by all!
