FIRST SPRING CRAFT SHOW A SUCCESS This year the Activity Department decided to hold it's first Spring Craft Show at the end of March. Residents and volunteers have helped to prepare for this fundraiser since the beginning of the year. Residents were busy working on ceramics, woodwork, and a wide variety of Easter and Spring projects. The craft show was held in the solarium on a Friday and Saturday. The show consisted of crafts and a small selection of refreshments. This year's Volunteer of the Year was Terry Willaman. Terry has been doing volunteer work at the Bethlen Home since 1987. During this time she and volunteer Millie Brallier have been visiting the home every Monday to distribute library books and magazines to our residents. Terry, who is a retired Librarian in the Ligonier School District, has been working hard putting together the Home's Large Print library. Terry was presented with a special certificate and a hand painted desk set. Special appreciation also goes to Millie Brallier who also has been assisting her on the library. Congratulations on a job well done! Special "thanks” to Elizabeth Nordstrom for the beautiful hand woven Easter Basket that you made and donated for our Easter Raffle.
