participated in our Clothes for Appalachia project. We collected 24 cartons of clothes for distribution to the needy people of the Appalachian region. Bertalan Oláh Branch Manager Branch 227—Warren, OH Projects for our branch during this quarter included the following: June of 2006 was a very busy month. We had graduations to celebrate: from high school level to Pre-school level. Joshua A. Nicholas (La Brae High School) is attending Kent St. College, Maria Sember (Howland High School) has become the student of Hirman College. Andrew Reaburn (La Brae High School) is working now but is planning to continue his education in the fall of 2007. Branch Manager Margaret Pauli and director Michael Pauli, Jr. Congratulations to Branch member, Lisa Mary Melanson who departed for Florida for the summer to work for the Lisa M Melanson Congratulations to all the three of them! Also, HRFA’s triplets Mario, Jolena and Elena Gioliello have just graduated from Pre-school! They are all 5 years old and proud members of HRFA! July was overwhelmed with the Vacation Bible School where we served meals (supper) every evening with 3 churches. During the month of July in Ligonier we helped packing bags for the Golf Outing at the Bethlen Home, as well as took clothes for the Appalachian project. The Fraternal Coordinators Annual Meeting was a wonderful and blessed event to conclude the 3-day program of the Bethlen Home weekend. August was the month to collect for food banks and to visit a local nursing home. Jerry Wyttenbach Branch Manager Branch 501/502 Congratulations to Elizabeth Alexander St. George, NJ Elizabeth Alexander, Branch 501 member in Benicia, California who was inducted into the Junior National Honor Society and also received a prestigious award from President Bush. Elizabeth is the granddaughter of National Parks Department, Endangered Species Program for the Florida Panthers at Big Cypress Preserve. She is presently on the Deans list at Cook College, New Brunswick, N. J. Lisa is also the granddaughter of Branch Manager Margaret Pauli and director Michael Pauli, Jr. Branch 501 Member Kimberly Erin Pauli and her Smith College crew team finished fourth overall in the NCAA Championships in Princeton, N. J. in May 2006. Good job, ladies! For the four years that Nicole was in High School, she organized and conducted a Walk for Multiple Sclerosis in conjunction with her High School Key Club and members of her family.
