Welcome New Members We are pleased to extend a fraternal welcome to two additional members of the Beüsse family, namely 4-year- old Sarah and her 6-year-old brother, Michael. Branch Manager Marge Nicho­las and her family participated with church members of Covenant Presbyterian Church of Warren, Ohio, in Opera­tion Christmas Child (“Shoebox Project”) to help the chil­dren of third world countries. We are very grateful to our members and friends for supporting this worthwhile project. We also wish to thank Mr. Ed Szabó, Manager of Branch 2, for a $25 check given towards the project. On November 10th, HRFA Director Bill Nicholas took part in the “National Young Readers Day” at Bascom El­ementary School in Leavittsburg, Ohio. Bill read from a book entitled, “Love Is a Family,” to the second graders, and discussed with them the importance of love in the family and the respect towards parents. On Veteran’s Day, November 11th, Bill was honored along with other veterans at a program held at the Word of Life Academy in Warren, Ohio. Part of our group that took part in the Shoebox Project. On the far right is Frank Beleny, coordinator of the project. Bill received a Certificate of Service for having served as a gunner’s mate on the battleship, New Jersey, during the Korean War. We take this opportunity to wish our members and friends a Blessed Christmas and a Very Happy New Year. As Manager of Branch 300,1 would like to thank our many members and friends for supporting our project Op­eration Christmas Child. We are very happy to report that the youth enthusiastically embraced this project and en­couraged us to do it again next year. The boxes were collected at the Home Office and trans­ported to the drop off location in Maryland by Erika Ma­son and Brent Kooken. I wish to thank my co-workers, Andrea Barok- Treff, Eliz Pota, Erika Mason, Krisztina Fulwiler, and Irene Vallario, for their donations and their invaluable help and support in all phases of this project. May our gifts bring joy and hope to the children around the world, and may our love reflect God’s love for them.
