Page 20 TESTVÉRISÉG Branch 134 - Greater Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Marissa Lynn Darnay top reader in the “Read-a-Thon” Marissa Lynn Darnay, one of our younger members, was the top reader in the “Read-a-Thon” held for the kindergarten class of 33 children at the Wilson Christian Academy. She was also one of the winners of the students from K. through 5th grade who were recognized and rewarded for writing essays about their favorite things about Wilson. Congratulations to Marissa who worked very hard to achieve these honors. Daughter of members Sue and John Darnay and granddaughter of Branch Manager Olga Darnay, Marissa has entered the first grade at Wilson this fall. Branch Vice President William Nagy is making “zsíros kenyér, ” as his son Jared anxiously waits. 75,h Anniversary of the Hungarian Reformed Church in America was celebrated on Saturday, October 23, 1999 The 75th anniversary of the Hungarian Reformed Church in America was observed on Saturday, October 23, 1999, at the Hungarian Reformed Church of Duquesne, Pennsylvania, 1411 Kennedy Avenue. A cook-out held at the Hungarian Reformed Church of Duquesne Branch 134 held a “cook-out” on June 5, 1999 at the parking lot and grounds behind the church and parsonage of the Hungarian Reformed Church of Duquesne. The weather cooperated, and the food, including a bacon fry, plus all the other goodies, was enjoyed by all.
