FRATERNITY Page 21 Branch 152 - Uniontown, Pennsylvania Welcome new member A warm welcome is extended to Winston Winning, youngest member of our branch, who celebrated her second birthday on August 14, 1999. Winston Winning Annual Picnic On August 15, 1999, Branch 152 held its first annual picnic at the Wana B Park in Carmichaels, Pennsylvania. Friends and family came from as far as Maple Heights, Bedford Heights and Canton, Ohio. They also came from Pittsburgh, Oakdale, Evens City, Clarksville, Jefferson, Brownsville, California, Roscoe, Masontown and Carmichaels. A cool and dreary day did not stop National Secretary of the Federation, Endre Csornán, from making his famous Hungarian gulyás. Also on the menu was töltött káposzta (stuffed cabbage), Hungarian sausage, chicken and a mound of Hungarian pastries. Martin Elek and Steve Dűlik kept the kettle fire going and created an atmosphere around the gulyás that was most delightful. The warmth from the fire made most of us gravitate there at one time or another during the day. Special thanks go out to Martin Elek, Steve and Sondra Dűlik, David and Brandon Jones, Arlene Csornán and everyone who helped in one way or another. Betty Elek, Branch Manager (724) 966-5520 (Left) Standing in front of National Secretary Endre Csornán ’s famous Bogrács Guylás are Martin Elek, Endre Csornán and his grandson Otto, Steven Dűlik and Rev.
