FRATERNITY Page 33 patients. My volunteer work at the above-named hospital reinforces my commitment to working and helping other people. In the future, I would like to have the opportunity to go back to Hungary and serve my mother country, because I will never forget who I am.” Gabriella was recommended by Area Director Clara V. Csikesz KERRI STIG Member of Br. 302 “Since the age of three I have been dancing almost every day. I have studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern and pointe. I was on a competition team for three years where I received numerous first and second place awards. I was even selected to perform in the opening ceremonies of the 1996 Olympics, but due to financial reasons we were unable to attend. I also love to work with little kids. That is why I am pursuing a career in elementary education. I like to watch kids learn new things every day. Next year, when I transfer to a four-year college, I plan to major in Elementary Education and Dance. I will be able to do the two things I love the most.” Kerri was recommended by Linda Puskas, Branch Manager GABOR ZSONDA GABOR ZSONDA Member of Br. 302 “At the present, I am learning at the Faculty of Violoncello at Ferenc Liszt Training College for Teachers of Music in Budapest. I graduated from the Bela Bartók Secondary Music School of Budapest. I am also involved in film art, but my priority right now is to perfect my English. I have studied music for 14 years. I have been on several tours abroad with different orchestras, and was in the USA seven years ago. That visit convinced me that the USA was a country of many opportunities, and that I would certainly like to complete my studies at a university there. I hope that one day I will be able to disseminate Hungarian culture successfully outside of Hungary that I can teach the next generation in Hungary using the knowledge that I will have hopefully acquired in the USA.” Gabor was recommended by Matilda Dózsa, Agent Kerri Stig OBITUARIES GÉZA OROSZ Mr. Géza Orosz passed away July 2, 1998 at the Massena Memorial Hospital.
