FAZEKAS Member of Br. 4 “I am presently studying at North Central Michigan College, working towards a degree in Elementary Education and with minors in mathematics, science and integrative and creative arts. I work in my father’s bar where I bartend and cook. I would like to thank my grandparents István and Barbara Fazekas. They helped me with so many things JEFFREY J. FAZEKAS and if it was not for them, I would not have had enough money to make it to where I am at school right now. I am currently attending Philadelphia College of Bible hoping to receive my B.A. in Social Work. I enjoy helping others and I am certain that with my goals in sight, I can do just that. I am almost a third year student and I plan to graduate in about two years. I think that it is truly a blessing that scholarships and grants are established to help students like me. Again, thank you all for your help.” Julie was recommended by Priscilla Hunyady, V.P., Board of Directors JEFFREY ROBERT KLEIN Member of Br. 151 “Before coming to Slippery Rock University, I was an active member in both my community and my church. I grew up in Beaver Falls, PA and graduated from Riverside High School. There I was named Choir Student of the Year and also Psychology Student of the Year. I followed up these accolades by pursuing them further at Slippery Rock. I am a one-year member of the Slipper Rock Choir. Last spring, we traveled to New York City and even had a brief appearance on the ‘Today Show!’ As for my studies in Psychology, they are going very well. I currently hold a 3.5 in my major and a 3.3 overall. I presently go to church at Trinity Episcopal Church in Beaver Falls. There, I spent about twelve years serving as an acolyte and also performed in the church choir. Not all of my interests are in music or school however. I also try to participate in every intramural sport at Slipper Rock such as soccer, softball, volleyball, and flag football (it’s rougher than it sounds). I am also involved with the student government here at SRU, being a member of House Council and the Association of Residence Hall JEFFREY ROBERT KLEIN Students. My plans for the future are to get my Ph.D. or at least my Masters Degree in Psychology and end up with my own practice or teaching psychology at the college level. In the spare time, I enjoy going to Penguin games and canoeing at Conneaut Lake.” Jeffrey was recommended by Arlene Csornán, Branch Manager LAUREN R. I am a Junior at Bowling Green State University where I am studying Visual Communications Technology. While I am striving for my Bachelors of Science in LAUREN R. KOSKEY Technology, I am also working towards the goal of obtaining a minor in Business. When I am not focusing my time on school work I am working as a server at the Cleveland Yacht Club. Any free time I might find I enjoy hiking, playing softball, writing poetry and creating three dimensional art. After graduation, I hope to obtain a job in the field of advertising. Right now my goals are set on television commercials. I enjoy the satisfaction of creating something that flashes color on my own personality.
