FRATERNITY Page 13 Immediately following the dance performance, we unveiled our famous cornucopia of Hungarian salami and cheese, tepertő, breads, crackers and platters overflowing with fresh fruit. This much anticipated presentation was a delight to all as evidenced by the miniscule morsels left on the platters. The afternoon was very much enjoyed by all present. It was a relaxing time to enjoy each other’s friendship and rekindle our desire to further our Hungarian Heritage. Michael Pauli, Jr., Director General Chairman The Hungarian Scout Folk Ensemble. Preparations are underway for the big day. FRATERNAL DAY of THE HRFA KOSSUTH CLUB in INDIANA The Fraternal Day of the Kossuth Club, the social and beneficial club of the HRFA, was held on July 12th. This year Mother Nature collaborated with us by presenting us with a beautiful sunny day - not too hot or humid - a perfect day for an outing. This year again, the food was excellent. Our ladies prepared stuffed cabbage, pecsenye, sausage and bográcsgulyás. The ever so popular langos was made in great quantities and was snapped up quickly. The pastries were very delicious and they met the same fate as the langos. We were honored to have among us Secretary Endre Csornán and his wife Arlene from the Home Office. Although the date of our fraternal day coincided with the final game of the World Cup Soccer tournament; however, it did not deter people from attending, because we had two TV sets on the premises for the soccer fans (who by the way, were rooting for the French team). Continued on page 14 Entertainment was provided while waiting for the food to be served.
