FRATERNITY Page 27 BRANCH 140 - CANTON, OH The delegate election meeting of the Branch 140 was held at the Calvin Presbyterian Church in Canton, Ohio, on May 26, 1996, 11:30 A.M. It was opened with a prayer by Vice-President Steven Bodo. Mr. Bodo explained that the purpose of the meeting was to elect a delegate and two alternates to the convention, and to make recommendations for amendments of By-Laws and resolutions for consideration to the convention. There being 15 members present, the Vice-President declared a quorum. Elected were: Margaret A. Ayers, delegate; Steven J. Bodo, first alternate; Steve Bodo, second alternate. Ed Bihary, Ohio Director, was the Official Observer of the meeting. Margaret A. Ayers, Secretary BRANCH 151 - BEAVER FALLS, PA The delegate election meeting was held at the West Mayfield Park, Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, May 19, 1996, 3:00 P.M. It was opened with a prayer by Branch President Joe Fabri. Fie explained the purpose of the meeting and introduced Vice-President on the Board of Directors John K. Morey, who served as Official Observer of the meeting. Branch Secretary Peggy Fabri reported that twenty-five voting members were present. Elected were: Joe Fabri, delegate; Alex Varady, first alternate delegate; László Kovács second alternate delegate. The meeting ended with a prayer by the newly elected delegate Joe Fabri. Hunter Coleman One of the youngest and newest members of our branch is Hunter Coleman, son of Kevin and Mary Coleman of Industry, Pennsylvania. We extend Hunter a warm welcome, and we wish him God’s richest blessings. Peggy Fabri, Secretary BRANCH 158 - VESTABURG, PA The delegate election meeting of Branch 158 was held at the residence of Irene Sinclair on May 16, 1996 at 7:00 P.M. The meeting was originally planned for 2:00 P.M., but due to the serious illness of James Sinclair, Mrs. Sinclair spent the daytime with her husband in the Brownsville General Hospital where he was a patient in the ICU, the meeting had to be postponed to the evening hours. The quorum was established since 5 percent of the membership was present. Rev. Alexander Jalso, Official Observer, explained the reason and purpose of the meeting, namely that 1996 was again convention year, and this time the 100th anniversary convention would be held in Trenton, New Jersey, where the Federation was organized. Elected were: Andrew Varga, delegate; Irene Sinclair, alternate. The meeting adjourned at 7:30 P.M. Monica A. Maxon, Secretary BRANCH 165 - AKRON, OH The special meeting of Branch 165 was held on April 28, 1996 in the church hall of Christ Reformed Church, Akron, Ohio. Number of members present was 39. Nomination for a delegate for the 35th Convention of the HRFA followed. Elected were: Elizabeth Schmidt, delegate; Tibor Dömötör, first alternate; Karen Kemerer, second alternate. Elizabeth Schmidt, Branch Manager BRANCH 176 - GARY, IN The special election meeting of our branch was held in the Holy Trinity Hungarian Reformed Hall, May 4, 1996. It was opened at 6:00 P.M. with a prayer. The Branch President addressed the twenty-four members present stating that the main item on the agenda was the election of delegates and alternates to the 35th Convention of the HRFA. The floor was opened for nominations. Elected were: Maria Simon, delegate; Herbert Ennsmann alternate. Evelyn Ennsmann, Secretary BRANCH 182 - FLINT, MI Branch 182 held its delegate election meeting on May 26, 1996. The meeting was held at the residence of Branch Manager Tibor Nagy.
