A 5% general increase in compensation of all employees, National Officers and Board of Directors shall commence April 1, 1991. The increase only reflects an adjustment to the inflation rate which was 6.4% last year. Increase in the mileage compensation from 26 cents to 28 cents per mile. This increase reflects only part of the cost and is regulated by the IRS. The Board gives the Executive Committee flexibility to decrease benefits or maintain the present cost of our Hospitalization Plan. Decrease the percentage in our mortgage lending procedure from 75% to 70% of the appraised value of the property. This request is in line with the present fluctuation of the real estate market. Duration of mortgage lending period and maximum amount will remain the same as in 1990. Employees who do not participate in the Employees Hospitalization Plan shall be given a $500 payment in lieu of the hospitalization coverage. This policy shall be approved annually. A travel subsidy be continued for the Home Office employees in the amount of $300 and in the amount of $200 for Home Office employees over the age of 65. This policy shall be approved annually. Administrator Paul Kovács, along with V.P. -Secretary Dózsa look into the possibility of the HRFA offering a policy which would be convertible to a long term care policy, if the need should arise for a member, from a policy which is payable on death. The feasibility study conducted by the Feasibility Study Committee for the Bethlen Museum and Archives Building be accepted as a workable proposal. In addition, denominational support of the Hungarian Reformed Church in America and the Calvin Synod of the United Church of Christ should be solicited at the Assembly meetings which will be held in April and May respectively. Pending the positive response of the two denominations, the feasibility study should be presented to the Board of the Bethlen Home for a referendum vote to approve the start of the construction of the Archives building. The Board of Directors of the HRFA hereby approve the September 5, 1990 action of the Board of Directors of the Bethlen Home of the HRFA authorizing the sale of the Avon, Ohio real estate and hereby authorizes the proper corporate officials of the HRFA to execute and deliver any and all documents necessary to effectuate said sale. That the 34th Convention be held in Washington, D.C. Date: September 21—26, 1992 and cut off date for membership count be December 31, 1991. That the President appoint a By-Law Committee in 30 days and all recommendations from branches shall be sent to the committee three months prior to the Convention.
