Endre Csornán and organizers at Scenic View Well deserved refreshments served at the Scenic View Youngstown, OH, was one of the highlights of the tour, namely during the group's visit, the City of Youngstown passed a resolution expressing the sincere intent of the council and administration of the City of Youngstown, Ohio, to enter into a sister-city affiliation with Nyiregyhaza, Hungary. The concert was attended by over 800 people. A gala reception followed for everyone attending the concert. Mr. Joseph Vince and Mrs. Mary Schauer were cochairpersons for the event. The local branches of the HRFA under the leadership of Mr. & Mrs. John Morey (Br. 22) and Mrs. Margaret Dubos (Br. 238) sponsored a McDonalds "rehearsal" meal on the evening of the performance. The following day the touring group attended a Thanksgiving Mass for the liberation of Hungary at Our Lady of Hungary Church where Father Nicholas Dengl is pastor. Father Angelus Ligeti, co-editor of the Catholic Hungarians' Sunday, spoke to the children and reminded them that they would be playing an important role in Hungary's future.
