Maria Kovács jelentette, hogy tervezünk egy hurka-kolbász ebédet májusban, az évi picnic augusztusban, és azonkívül a kétnapos Cultural Fair szeptemberben lesz, amelyen tevékenyen részt fogunk venni. Majd Kovács József igazgató kért szót. Jelentette, hogy tagjaink száma mindig kevesebb és nagyon fontos, hogy új tagokról gondoskodjunk. Kérte a tagok és tisztikar támogatását. A gyűlés elhatározta, hogy a következő gyűlés május 22-én legyen, mivel hogy ez a nap Kovács József igazgató születésnapja. Más tárgyalni való nem volt és Mária Kovács osztálykezelő a gyűlést bezárta. Kávé, sütemény és hűsítő italok mellett kártya és társasjátékkal folytattuk a szórakozást. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as was the treasurer's report. Silent prayers were held for the deceased members of our branches, especially Frank Nagy, President of Branch 63, whose loss was greatly felt. The election of the 1990 officers was held with the following results: Louis Barabas, President; Elizabeth Mocsi, Vice President; Rosemary Szepesi, Treasurer; Klara Barabas, Secretary. The two branches are planning a dinner-dance for June 2nd. Klara Barabas, Secretary Youngest member of Br. 63, Stephen Beck, grandson of Branch President, Louis Barabas BRANCH 67—SHARON, PA On January 3,1990 William Szuch, Presiding Officer, opened the meeting with a prayer. The minutes of the previous meeting were appraised as read. Members of our branch contribute financially to the Bethlen Home Building Fund and participate in bazaar donations, memorial gifts and the student aid fund of the HRFA. The president and secretary of our branch attend the bazaar of the Bethlen Home annually. There were 2 deceased members in our branch; 7 new members enrolled; 1 graduation—Scott Jimison. Members that were ill: Mary Hunyadi, Rozalia Jarmusch, Vilma Vargo, Betty Jancso, William Szuch and Frank Nagy. Visitations are made in homes and hospital, if notified. Get well cards are sent. The officers elected for 1990 are: William Szuch, President; Frank Nagy, Vice President; Helen Szuch, Secretary-Treasurer. The meeting was adjourned by the president with a prayer. BRANCH 69—COLUMBUS, OH The business meeting of the Hungarian Reformed Federation Branch 69 was held in the Sunday School Room of the Hungarian Reformed Church at 12:15 p.m. on January 28,1990, following the English service of the church. The meeting was opened by President Margaret Leonardo. The opening prayer was given by Rev. Stephan Nyeste. President Leonardo introduced two guests, Mr. & Mrs. Endre Csornán from Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania — Mr. Csornán being on the Board of Directors of the Federation.
