In my home town of Michigan City, Indiana, I live with my family—my mom, dad, my sister Kristin, and me. I am a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and have been a life-long member there. In my church I serve as liturgist for church services or as an usher. In my community I was selected to receive the DAR citizenship award and was a previous delegate to Hoosier Boys State. In high school I was a member of the National Honor Society and participated in PUSH (Prevention Using Student Helpers), a program in which high school students teach younger children about the danger of drugs and alcohol use. My goal is to graduate from college with a major in accounting. I also intend to continue being involved in a variety of activities in my church and in my community."
