Page 22 TESTVÉRISÉG BRANCH LIFE — OSZTÁLY ÉLET BRANCH 2 - CLEVELAND Branch # 2, Cleveland, Ohio of the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America had its monthly meeting and business meeting called to order by President Joseph Kovach at 1:00 p.m. Vice Pres. Daniel Vizsolyi had been excused. All other officers were present. The secretary read minutes of the previous meeting and also reported that members of our branch had been very active in every organization of the First Hungarian Reformed Church, as well as other fraternal organizations in the greater Cleveland area in the recent two months. The first order of business was to discuss the payment of the security officer who had stayed at our request. The motion was to pay $12.00 for use of the church’s security officer. Unanimously passed. Election of Officers was the next order of business, and due to many conflicting meetings, Snowflake Dance, and Christmas Party that would take some attending members from our next meeting, it was motioned, seconded and passed that the branch members attend and show good faith by assisting at the coming Snowflake Dance of our church and in lieu of our next meeting thereby move Election of Officers at this meeting. The results were as follows: Joseph A. Kovach, president; Daniel Vizsolyi, vice president; Edward Szabó, secretary; Ann H. Kovach, treasurer; Lucille Szabó & Irene Waszil, controllers; Violet Szabó, auditor. President Kovach installed the newly elected officers according to the by-laws. Discussion followed and Edward Szabó would volunteer to take Christmas orders for kolbász by advertising in the church bulletin. Profit to be given to the ladies of the church who would distribute and collect the individual orders. A kolbász dinner with Card Party will be on the agenda for our meeting in January, 1987. The meeting adjourned at 1:40 p.m. with the reading of a prayer by President Kovach. Report of Kossuth House dedication will be upcoming at next meeting.
