He told me it will help him to continue his education in Hungary. Hálásan köszönöm szíves segítségüket amellyel hazzájárultak orvosi tanulmányaim fedezéséhez. Egyetemem költséges, azért minden támogatásért igen hálás vagyok. E dicséretre méltó tevékenységükhöz, amivel felkaroltak engem és a hasonló rászorultakat, és minden munkájukhoz kívánok sok sikert, eredményes munkát. Bacho BRANCH 136 — Poughkeepsie, NY The above picture shows Andrew Szüle, branch manager, the Reverend Sándor Forro and Frank G. Mittermann, recipient of a Student Aid Fund check. Frank wrote in appreciation — “Thank you very much for the check I received to use toward my education at Orange County Community College. OCCC is not a very expensive school, but an education today is very expensive, and any help a student can get is very beneficial to them. The money I received will be put to good use and once again, I would like to thank you and the Hungarian Reformed Federation for giving me a chance to continue in my studies.” BRANCH 67 - Sharon, PA With the officers present, the President opened the meeting with a prayer. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. President William Szuch called for a moment of silent prayer for deceased member Joseph Tisza. A Memorial gift was sent to the Bethlen Home from Branch #67 in his memory. The President reported that the tornado that struck many areas fortunately did not damage any homes of our branch members. He personally contacted those living in the path of the tornado. Donations were made to the Red Cross by members.
