FRATERNITY Page 11 BRANCH 35 - Detroit, Ml The Hungarian Reformed Federation of Amer­ica Branch 35 of Detroit, Michigan, held their meeting on Sunday afternoon, March 24, 1985, at the Hungarian Reformed Church located on Allen Road in Allen Park, Michigan. Meeting was called to order at 2 p.m. by Pres­ident Samuel Vespremi. He welcomed the mem­bers — total of 18 were present. President called upon the Secretary Louise Vespremi to open the meeting with a prayer. Roll call of officers were taken; all officers were present except Vice-Presi­dent Bishop Abraham being he was with wife Margaret Abraham on a trip to the Holy Land. President requested a minute of silent prayer for the members who have died from Branch 35. Geza Csigi, Mrs. Mary Simon, Dr. Gabor Papp from Canada, Bert Lovas and Nicholas Molnár. May God grant them eternal rest. Isten veletek hűséges tagok. Minutes of the last meeting was read by the Secretary. Motion made by Louis Bunna, seconded by Mary Boka that the minutes be accepted as read. Motion carried. President called upon Mrs. Ethel Tegze, Branch Manager of 35 for discussion on our in­surance policies and questions to be asked by the members. She faithfully compiled and the Presi­dent thanked her. President called upon member Frank Kender to account for the sale of tickets since the draw­ing was to be held after the meeting. Total of $172.00 of tickets was sold. Also get well wishes and prayers were bestowed upon Fran Kinder since he was to have open heart surgery. Being there was no other business our next meeting is to be held in the fall, motion to close the meeting was made by Mary Boka, seconded by Margaret New, meeting was adjourned by 3:30 p.m. at closing we all sang the Hungarian National Anthem. Left Frank Kender, Chairman of the raffle with Comptrolled Stephen Toltessi Frank Kender, Juli a Jacob and Louis Bunna Frank Kender and Louis Hercsik Refreshments were held after the meeting and the drawing began. Frank Kender was spending the basket and members did the drawing. 1st prize ham was won by member Mary Gruber, 2nd prize Hungarian Table Cloth won by member Ida Kish, 3rd prize Cheers won by member Louis Bunna, 4th prize basket of fruit won by Don Neiber, 5th prize blanket won by Frank Korody. Ticket money was handed over to Treasurer Elizabeth Toltessi and at our next meeting members will decide our contributions. Wonderful fellowship was hod for the afternoon. Louis Vespremi, Secretary BRANCH 63 - BRIDGEPORT, CT At the officers election meeting the following were elected: The Rt. Rev. Dr. John Butosi, pres­ident; Louis Reszoly, vice president; Cheryl M. Nicholas, secretary; Elizabeth Szalai, treasurer; Frank G. Golias, controller. Stephen G. Molnár, who has been a dedicated branch manager for many years resigned. His many years of service to Federation members is greatly appreciated. The new branch manager is Louis Reszoly. If there is any question, please do not hesitate to call Mr. Reszoly.
