Page 12 TESTVÉRISÉG BRANCH 45, ROSELLE, NJ At the meeting held on May 13, the following were elected officers of Branch 45: Albert Put- noky, president; Julia Capirosso, vice-president; Magda Tussay, secretary; Helen Putnoky, trea­surer. Plans in support of the Statue of Liberty Restoration Fund were discussed. Magda Tussay BRANCH 50, BUFFALO, NY A meeting was held on June 9, 1985 at the West Side Hungarian Reformed Church’s Social Hall, by Branch 50. The purpose of this meeting was to elect branch officers for 1985. The meet­ing was opened by a short prayer. The first order of business was the reading of the minutes of the previous meeting, which was approved. This was followed by a report from the section manager about the excellent financial status of the Federation. She also remembered the deceased members of the branch. The following members were unanimously elected for officers of Branch 50, for 1985: Frank Holbok, president; George Vary, vice-president; Elvira Petry, secretary; Michael Vince, treasurer. The next order of business was a report by Michael Vince referring to the 1984 Convention. It was followed by a discussion on the latest in­surance policy, Single Premium Whole Life Plan. The Ladies Guild and other church members — many of them also members of the Federation — put countless hours together to make church dinners and picnics. Members of the branch are involved with a variety of volunteer work in our community. There was no further business and the meeting was adjourned. Elvira Petry, secretary BRANCH 84, CHICAGO, IL At the January meeting the following were elected officers: Helen Biczo, president; James Gal, vice-president; Catherine Maloney, secretary; Tedd Bancsi, treasurer; Julius Budos, controller. Many branch activities are planned with Branch #62. The last joint venture was April 13, a spring dance. With the proceeds of this event Branches 62 and 84 made the following contributions: $150 — Statue of Liberty Restoration Fund, $150 Kossuth Lajos Statue Restoration, Cleveland, $150 Student Aid Fund of the HRFA, $100 Bethlen Home. BRANCH 52, SOUTH NORWALK, CT Members of Branch 52 took part in many ac­tivities during 1984, and our 1985 schedule is also a very busy one. A recap of 1984 is as follows: — Four meetings were held — March, June, September, December — and a special gathering in November. — Branch members and friends visited Atlantic City on one-day bus trips on three occasions (April June and October). — The branch shared in the expenses of Moth­er’s Day flowers at the Hungarian Reformed Church in South Norwalk. — In June, the branch sponsored a Coffee Hour between church services on the Sunday of the Delegate Election for the 1984 HRFA Con­vention. — From July 8 to August 2, 1984, several mem­bers, their family and friends enjoyed a visit to Hungary.
