fall meeting on Saturday morning at 10 o’clock in the Fraternal Hall of the Bethlen Home. Professor Waite H. Archer, the director of the Life Insurance Institute of Purdue University will lecture on the insurance courses offered by his department in preparation for state insurance license examinations. In the afternoon session, Rev. Paul Ferenczy, Dr. Tibor Halo, Mr. László Kernes and Mr. William Puskas as members of a forum will discuss the image of the Federation and the Bethlen Home. September 5 — Sunday At 10:30 o’clock Hungarian service in the Bethlen Chapel. Bishop Louis Nagy will be the liturgist. At 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon the annual meeting of the American Hungarian Reformed Presbyters’ Association. September 6 — Labor Day 8:30 o’clock meeting of the Presbyters’ Association. 10:30 o’clock anniversary service and holy communion. Bishop Zoltán Beky will be the liturgist. Bishop Dezső Abraham will preach the Hungarian and Bishop Arpad Beretz the English sermon. The minister Board members of the Federation and Bethlen Home will participate in the services. At 12:00 noon the 75th annviersary of the Federation and the 50th anniversary of the Bethlen Home banquet will be held at the Ligonier Holiday Inn. The Rt. Rev. Francis Újlaki, former president of the Federation, the honorable Judge Albert Fiok, former legal counselor, and Mr. Gazéi Veszprémi, former vice- president will be the special guests of the Federation. The Rt.. Rev. Alexander Daroczy, Rev. Joseph Kecs- kemethy, former superintendents, Mr. Emery Király, former treasurer and Mrs. Barbara (Nanassy) Deak, wife of the former deceased superintendent will be the special guests of the Bethlen Home. At 7:00 o’clock the installation service of Bishop Arpad Beretz, president of Calvin Synod will be held in the chapel. September 7 — Tuesday The Bethlen Home’s Board of Directors meeting at 9:30 o’clock. September 8 — Wednesday The Federation’s Board of Directors annual meeting at 9:30 o’clock. Also meeting of the Hungarian Reformed Ministerial Association. Federations 15th anniversary services and banquets will be held on the following dates: September 26 — New York, special anniversary program directed by Mr. László Dekany. October 24 — Ontario, California. October 31 — Los Angeles, California, special program arranged by Mr. Tibor Dolinszky. November 7 — San Francisco, California, Dr. Tibor Köss sponsoring program. December 5 — Miami, Florida and December 12 — Lakeland, Florida. In accordance with the resolution of the Board of Directors all profits made on the banquets will be donated for the benefit of our Bethlen Home. New Field Force member. We are happy to greet and welcome in our field force Mr. John Szabó who is the new manager of our Windsor, Ontario branch 404. In 1928 Mr. Szabó immigrated from Transylvania to Canada. He was an auto salesman and mechanic from 1928 to 1940. In possession of his engineer degree he was hired by the Dominion Forge and Stamping Co., in 1940 as a Stationery Engineer and later advanced to the position of Hoosting Engineer. He was working in this capacity during the past 27 years. Mr. Szabó is a Presbyter of the Windsor Hungarian Presbyterian Church since 1928. As secretary of the Windsor Roman and Greek Catholic Sick Benefit Society he worked in true ecumenical spirit with his Hungarian Christian fellow brethren. In 1947 he became the treasurer of the Windsor Hungarian Transylvanian (Székely) Federation. Since 1966 as officer of the Windsor Federation of Hungarian Churches and Societies, he endeavors to coordinate the activities of the religious and secular organizations in his community. In 1941 he married Vilma Bartók Szaszy. Their daughter: Elizabeth Enikő Katalin is taking the five years arts and science course at the Windsor Walkerville Institute. We welcome Mr. John Szabó into the fraternal family of our coworkers and we are certain that by the grace and blessings of our Lord he will work effectively for the welfare and benefit of our Federation in Canada. 18
