Controller’s Office: Dr. Zoltán Kőrössy, Mrs. Katalin Paschke, Mr. Gyula László, Mrs. Vilma Csorba, Miss Erzsébet Nagy, Mrs. Irén Simon and Mrs. Galánthai Nagy Katalin. Our employees have done their duties faithfully. IN MEMORIAM OF JERRY WIZON Mr. Jerry Wizon, faithful adviser and accountant of our Federation died suddenly on January 27, 1970. Since years he has contributed to the progress of our Federation with his splendid work and knowledge, his valuable services and his noble personality will be sorely missed. Our Federation was represented by the Secretary, Treasurer and Controller at his funeral. Let us remember him and the 372 other deceased members of our Federation with one minute silent prayers. ADMINISTRATION Our By-Laws describe the duties and privileges of the President in Section 43. (paragraphs a. ■ i.). I do not wish to give detailed information here, the proper Committee will see them in detail. I wish to remark only that I tried to fulfill my obligations conscientiously in accordance with our Bylaws. I have examined and countersigned all deeds, certificates, checks and drafts. I have called executive meetings 47 times. As editor-in-chief I edited our official organ “Fraternity”. HUNGARIAN WORSHIP SERVICES IN WASHINGTON, D. C. We conducted regularly worship services in Hungarian and communion services two times. The President and Secretary were in charge. I wish to report with joy that we have a new place for our worship services in the Presidential Chapel of the new National Presbyterian Church, where we shall be able to hold our worship services during our Conventions. Dr. Elsőn is the minister of this Church, who also serves as the chaplain of the U. S. Senate, and he is a great friend of Hungarians. I hope that after many changes our Hungarian community should find a true spiritual home in this church. At the end of this report may I again express my deep gratitude to Almighty God for His many blessings. May I here also express my thanks to my fellow officers, to the members of the Board, to our District, Section and Branch managers and to all workers of our Home Office for their splendid help and cooperation. For all His blessings to God be the glory and praise! In the hope that my report will be accepted and also will serve as a basis for deliberations, I am Fraternally yours, DR. ZOLTÁN BÉKY President COMMUNIST RULES FOR REVOLUTION. DOCUMENT OF DESTRUCTION. In May of 1919 at Düsseldorf, Germany, the Allied Forces obtained a copy of some of the “Communist Rules for Revolution.” In 1946, a U.S. attorney general obtained a copy of the same rules from a known member of the communist party. Today, we’re told, these same rules are in effect. As you read them, mentally apply them to the present national condition and what you come up with will be frightening when you see the headway the rule-writers have made toward these goals: A. Corrupt the young; get them away from religion. Get them interested in sex. Make them superficial; destroy their ruggedness. B. Get control of all means of publicity, therebys 1. Get people’s minds off their government by focusing their attention on athletics, sexy boohs and plays and other trivialities. 2. Divide the people into hostile groups by constantly harping on controversial matters of no importance. 3. Destroy the people’s faith in their natural leaders by holding the latter up to contempt, ridicule and disgrace. 4. Always preach true democracy, but seize power as fast and as ruthlessly as possible. 5. By encouraging government extravagance, destroy its credit: produce fear of inflation with rising prices and general discontent. 6. Incite unnecessary strikes in vital industries, encourage civil disorders and foster a soft and lenient attitude on the part of government to such disorders. 7. By specious argument, cause the breakdown of the old moral virtues—honesty, sobriety, self-restraint, faith in the pledged word, ruggedness. C. Cause the registration of all firearms on some pretext, with a view to confiscating them and leaving the populace helpless. NOTICE We wish to inform the members of our Federation that in accordance with the resolution of the Board of Directors our official magazine the “Fraternity” will be published quarterly, beginning with this issue. NOTICE Application for “Scholarship Contest” has been extended until June 15, 1970. (See page 10) 13
